Toronto had a week! 🔥

For five days, Toronto became a city-wide celebration of technology and innovation.

Monday to Friday had 600+ events running simultaneously across the city. Organizations, founders, investors, operators, creators, and students opened their doors, shared what they were building, and raised the bar on what a community-led tech week can look like.

Builders, ecosystem players, and investors flew in from across Canada, the US, and beyond, specifically to be here, specifically to be part of what this community is putting together - raising the bar on community led global participation. That doesn't happen by accident. It happens when a city has something real to show.

Toronto Tech Week has never been about one stage, one venue, or one company. It's about an entire tech ecosystem coming together to create something that is bigger than themselves.

We hope you're still re-living the moments, and building on the relationships formed.

Homecoming 2026

Homecoming 2026

Our Toronto Tech Week main stage event, Homecoming, brought together more than 1,000 people to History - to celebrate the ideas, companies, and people shaping what's next for Canadian Tech. We're proud to share that this year, we had 700+ founders in the room - making it the most builder-dense room we've ever assembled.

A room with hundreds of builders shaping our future of technology in one place was more than just an incredible moment for the week. It was a reflection of how far Canada's innovation ecosystem has come, and a glimpse of how much further it can go.

The takeaway was clear: the next generation of world-class companies is already being built here.

If you missed it or want to relive it, watch the full replay below.

A special thank you to our Toronto tech community!

Whether you hosted an event, attended one, volunteered your time, sponsored the week, spoke on a stage, or simply showed up with curiosity, thank you.

Toronto Tech Week has never belonged to one team or one organization. It belongs to the community that shows up, opens its doors, and makes space for others.

This is what 600+ events looked like…

We learned.

From AI workshops and technical deep dives to founder stories, fireside chats, and bold conversations about what's next, thousands of people came together to share ideas and learn from one another.

We moved.

Morning runs. Waterfront walks. Pilates classes. Recovery sessions. Cold plunges. Many pickleball matches.

A reminder that some of the best conversations happen outside the conference room.

We connected.

Over coffee, on patios, at rooftop mixers, during founder dinners, and in evening socials across the city.

Introductions were made. Partnerships were formed. Friendships began.

We built.

From showcases and hackathons to demos, prototypes, and startup launches, the future wasn't just discussed this week. It was created.

As the Co-Directors of Toronto Tech Week 2026, we had big goals this year. To bring a week to the city that was bigger, better, more impactful, more global. With the city wide tech takeover last week, we hope you felt it.

To see 600+ events on the calendar, nearly double what we had in 2025, and to watch builders and investors fly in from around the world to be part of it, that was the moment for us. This week pushed what people think is possible to build here. It gave Canada its moment on the global stage. And it made clear that you don't have to look anywhere else to find world-class talent, ideas, and ambition.

A genuine thank you from both of us for being a part of the impact. Toronto Tech Week returns for 2027, and we hope to see all of you back next year!
